Rosa House School, which is a part of Educ8, has been commended by Ofsted, as it is awarded Outstanding in Personal Development, and for its Good Quality of Education and Leadership and Management.
The Ofsted report highlights how the school staff share leaders high epectations for all pupils to be successful, where leaders are ambitious for pupils to be the best that they can be.
The Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) is responsible for inspecting a range of educational institutions, including state schools and some independent schools, in England.
Throughout the report, inspectors praised a wide range of areas where Rosa House School is working exceptionally hard to provide the best educational opportunities for its students. Notably:
Pupils trust adults to listen and help them if they have any worries or concerns.
Pupils are polite and well mannered. They work hard in lessons. Disruption to learning is rare.
Pupils take pride in their achievements which is reflected in the quality of the work that they produce.
Pupils are encouraged to take an active role in the local community.
Pupils are supported extremely well to be able to make informed choices about their future. The impartial advice on careers which they receive helps them with their ambitions.
Teachers use every opportunity to build and widen pupils vocabulary.
Staff are especially vigilant when looking out for an subtle changes in pupils behaviour or demeanour.
